(US)Help please, my mom is being catfished online.

So basically my mom is being scammed by someone posing as the model Tom Ernsting. For context, she is a 62 year old woman who recently got divorced and has a pretty depressing love life right about now. The model is one of the most used people for romance scams in the world and she still doesn’t believe that it’s not actually him. I am very worried because she is sending him apple gift cards and money and they haven’t even met yet, it’s so sad she believes she is in a real relationship with this man. Every time I try to confront her about it, she gets angry and defensive and I have showed her so much proof that he is not who he says he is. I need help on how to convince her that this isn’t real and she is being scammed. I really don’t want my mom going down this bad path, we are already pretty poor as it is and she’s sending this scammer money that she doesn’t have! Any help would be appreciated.
