[US] Very real look emails from Chase?

I got these two emails back to back this morning. I didn’t apply for anything with chase and I didn’t log in from any device this morning. I didn’t click on any of the links. I separately went to Chase’s website, found the customer service number, and followed the prompts to the fraud department.
They told me there are no pending applications under my name or social security number, and that they would never send an email with any links in it at all.
If that’s true, this is the most convincing scam I’ve ever seen. Yahoo even says the email is verified as being from Chase (the little purple check mark). Has anyone gotten a similar email, or can anyone confirm that a real chase email wouldn’t have a single link in it?
