I shared my daughter’s artwork that’s 8 years old and it gained over 400 “loves” on TikTok. I put on the video in bold letters she was 8 years old and did not show her face but just her hands drawing. I got a message from someone asking about talking to my daughter?! I will post below exactly what was said without posting her name because I don’t think it’s allowed but here it goes:

Woman: I’m genuinely impressed by how remarkable your art looks, it’s truly outstanding. Keep up the great work; you have something very special here.

Me: Thank you so much! My 8 year old daughter actually drew the art! 🎨

Woman: Wow,that’s good. I’m (insert name) ,an art Enthusiast and entrepreneur based in Sydney,Australia. I specialize in collecting and working with contemporary art, and I always appreciate the opportunity to clonnect directly with artists. I’d love to have a conversation whenever you have a moment. I always enjoy connecting with artists globally, may I ask where you’re from?

5 hours go by and I never respond to her. Then she says: “Hello??”

Me: I’m not the artist though my 8 year old is. Are you trying to talk to my 8 year old?????

Woman: Really, she’s talented. My collector is interested in her arts so you can help her out. What country are you based?

Me: Who is ur collector? And USA

Woman: Mr (redacted). So lovely to connect with you! Sending greetings from Australia.❤️

What is going on here???? Am I missing something? This seems really creepy. Has anyone ever seen this happen or has happened to anyone? Thank you.
