(U.S.)Feeling Stupid and Unsettled-Scammed by Fake Today Show Interview

I was scrolling through Instagram and came across a special news interview by Al Roker and Savanah Guthrie from the Today Show dated for today with the Today Show Logo displayed in the background. The interview was with Doctor Barbara O’Neill who had researched joint pain and developed a natural supplement to cure joint pain with Al Roker testifying the cure. Al Roker stated that his knee surgery he had a couple years ago didn’t hold up and he was scheduled for another knee surgery, but this miracle natural cure worked and he canceled the surgery. Savanah Guthrie stated that at the end of this interview a button would be displayed and if you are interested in the supplement to click on it and you could purchase it for $39. Well, I clicked on the button and gave my information and immediately my credit card was charged $299.

I called my credit card company.
They are looking into it.

I then looked into it myself and the speech was linked into Al Roker and Savanah Guthrie’s images and the speaking was made to sound like them.
