Subscription fee

I recently found out you’re supposed to keep paying after you’ve become an affiliate which i dont want to do. Is it possible that i don’t pay and re register when i need to? will i loose progress? And when they say due amount, is that accumulated subscription or a predetermined fee? If its accumulated does it include prenalty of 5%?
