Remote Exam – Using external Monitor

Hi Guys,

I have passed 9 exams until now, but never used an external monitor as the exam platform was enough to see everything.

However now for advanced exams there are lots of exhibits and when u also open word processor or excel spreadsheet the 16inch screen of my laptop gets full and it’s sometimes difficult to navigate between information.

I was considering using an external monitor although it’s yet not clear based on acca rules how should I use it.

Can I use also an external keyboard ? Should I close fully the lit of my laptop ? Do I also need external speakers so that I hear the invigilator ?

I unserstood I need also a webcam to attach to the monitor, but the points mentioned above aren’t clear for me.

Can anynone who had this experience advise on this matter ?
