Mother fell for Amazon scam. Looking for help. (Canada)

My mother is older and she got a call this morning from someone saying they were from Amazon and someone tried buying an expensive iphone on the account. They said they were sending her a code and for her to relay that code to him. She did and then he asked for her name. She now figured it may be a scam because they didnt know her name. She gave them a false name and they said « are you sure you dont have another name? ». She said no then they hang up.

I went in her account and nothing was ordered so i changed the password and added 2FA.

Anything else I can do?
