Mitigated circumstances email

Hi all

I encountered some technical difficulties when sitting my June exam and ended up losing a large amount of time in the exam due to this.

Submitted a mitigating circumstance shortly after the exam and today, just under 3 days till results day, I received an email saying (I’m paraphrasing here) that my review has been completed and my final mark will include consideration. The email then went on to say that I could appeal if I’m not satisfied. It also said that I should submit any exam entries for the next session if I wish to attend- this was my last paper.

Because of the timing I’ve received this email, I’m now completely nervous and assuming the worst. Has anyone else received something similar ? Is this just a generic email and not bespoke to my situation.
