it was 2 days ago, a so called « russian rich person » contacted my mom talking about how he accidently got her number and my mom believed him even though i warned that the country code is south africa benin (clearly) a scam. and today, the scammer asked to send over basically our life savings for receiving a parcel « with more money » to pay it off later.
my mom didnt say anything, she did it but after i returned school, i decided to spy and check the messages, and i tried telling my mom to stop and we need to go to the bank to report it, she blamed me and told its not my money, its her’s and decided to get in the car
because the scammer asked to fully empty the bank account and she did it, All the life savings that my mom got from our grandfather is now gone, SHE BELIEVED A SCAMMER OVER ME HER OWN SON AND TELL ME TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS AND DONT BE NEGATIVE THINKING ITS A SCAM.
how can i mind my own business, when im gonna be homeless and starving after this… i came here to vent before my life goes even more downhill.
before days i thought these scammers must be poor because no one would be stupid enough to fall for this… im very wrong. i dont know wut to do, she decided even if its a scam « the world will punish him » ITS THE REAL WORLD, THATS NOT HAPPENING ANYTIME SOON. i just wished she would have listened to me.
