Finally Qualified 1st time passes (except for FR which I failed 3 times)

So glad to tell people I have finally finished, passing SBL with 70%.

Passed all my strategic exams first time with an average of 70%, SBL 72, AAA 67, AFM 71, SBL 70.

I did fail FR 3 times because I wasn’t serious enough, I was convinced I didn’t want to do it anymore because it was too long and I was “wasting my youth”.

It took some stern words from my MD (I work in an investment bank, not finance, hence not getting sacked for failing) for me to really lock in.

Once I passed AFM, I knew that I’d be able to smash SBL so honestly I don’t feel that relieved because I’ve been relaxed for the last 3 months.

That said, once you get into the groove and rhythm of studying every evening and making sacrifices on the weekends, it will all come.

I’m now changing jobs to a Pension Fund, just bought a house, got back into all my hobbies and am trying some new ones.

It can be done, the only person holding you back is you.
