Are ACCA remote exams OK?

Just wanted to get an idea of how ACCA remote exams are? I sat my ACCA exam in person last week but would prefer remote next time.

I did a remote exam a few years ago for another qualification. I hated it. They got me to scan my room, and sit somewhere where there was a door behind me.

How bad are the ACCA exams? Are there a lot of tests and checks you have to do?
