AAA and APM December sitting

Hey everyone,

I’m sitting AAA (Advanced Audit & Assurance) and APM (Advanced Performance Management) in the December sitting, and I’d love to get some advice from those who’ve done these papers.

A bit about me: • I’m part-qualified and working full-time, so I’ll be balancing revision with a busy job. • I plan to start structured revision soon and want to avoid last-minute cramming. • I’ve already done some reading on exam technique, but I’m looking for real, practical tips from people who’ve passed.

Specifically, I’d appreciate guidance on: • Study approach: How far in advance should I start doing timed question practice? • Resources: Which revision kits, past papers, or YouTube/online tutors did you find most helpful? • Exam technique: Any tips for managing time and structuring answers, especially for AAA where the wording can trip you up? • Balancing both papers: How to juggle two “wordy” option papers effectively. • Common pitfalls: Mistakes to avoid that cost marks.
