I recently got an interview offer from https:// e-workforcesolutions(Dot)com/ regarding a Data Entry Clerk position that I do not remember applying for. Unfortunately, I went through a spree of mass applications for various types of positions throughout hundreds of websites and did not log them all. The email seems legit, includes detailed information, salary, and expectations. The email domain is also congruent with the companies website and looks like they have a physical address listed. Some concerns I have is that when they reached out, they put « Dear Applicant » which could be a scam or pure laziness. Yet that is not the main concern. The main concern for me is that, aside from their website, they are pretty much a ghost town on the internet. All their links (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, ect) refer back to their website and the BBB has no information. They also are discussing a stipend of $400 for one week of training and sign up bonus. Having worked in sales, I know this can be legit but its rare that I come across them nowadays for entry level positions due to high demand of employment. If this is fake, its one of the better fake companies I have come across in a while. And if its legit, they really need to do better work on their internet presence.
Can anyone help me decipher whether this will be work replying back to or if its a scam?
My thought process is to reply and see what their next interview steps include. But I could use a second opinion or a really good detective, who may be able to find something I cannot.
