[us] got a strange call from a private number

Hello, I just got a strange call from a private number. At first I just declined the call, but dude called back immediately so I sent it to my Google assistant to find out what they wanted. The call was a little hard to understand as he spoke over my Google assistant so I didn’t get a lot of the info but it sounds like he said his name was Lt. David West (didn’t state where he was a Lt.) and that I was needed to give testimony as either a character witness, an expert witness or a material witness.

I didn’t end up answering and hung up because I don’t talk to my family really, I don’t leave my house much or have many friends and I’m a stay at home mom and have been for quite a while now. The only people I really hang out with are my kid, my husband and a select few friends. So I don’t know who would need me as a character witness.

I tried to Google if this was a known scam but wasn’t seeing anything on it… I don’t think they would just call for something like that right?

Anyway I have an anxiety and panic disorder, so I will let you guess on what I’m currently feeling.
