Win + R Scam – worried I’ve been duped

I lost all my tabs in Firefox and Googled how to restore them

The answer I think was AI and asked me to go to about:support (a genuine page within Firefox) and copy a line of code from it and add it to Win + R with an added line provided by the answer.

I did that and clicked OK – nothing happened – no prompts, PowerShell or anything – it’s like I never clicked anything.

I’m hoping I was too dumb to follow the instructions well and put them in wrong, but have I been compromised?

The line of code doesn’t show on the drop-down list for Win + R and I can’t find the Win + R steps on my browser history.

I’m going to do a Bitdefender scan.

I use a password manager and I’m freaking out a bit.

Would I have scene some sort of activity after adding the code?
