Unauthorized YouTube Japan charge – I never purchased anything on YouTube

Hi everyone,

I’m posting here because I just noticed a €78 charge on my bank account labeled as YouTube. The problem is, I never bought anything on YouTube – no subscriptions, no Super Chats, no purchases of any kind.

I contacted my bank, and they confirmed the payment was processed via YouTube Japan. I’m in the process of disputing it, but I was wondering:

Has anyone else experienced similar charges from YouTube Japan without making any purchases? Any info or advice on how to deal with this would be very appreciated.
