Today’s the day. After countless false starts and a lot of self-doubt, I’m officially embarking on my Machine Learning journey. Day 1: Linear Regression on India’s Population (1960-2022)
To kick things off, I tackled Linear Regression using India’s population data from 1960 to 2022. My goal was simple: build a model to predict future population trends.
Here’s how I did it (and the proof!):
Data Source: I pulled India’s population data from [mention your source, e.g., The World Bank]. Tools: I used Python with pandas, numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, and scikit-learn, all within Google Colab. Process: Loaded data, preprocessed it, split into training/testing sets, trained a LinearRegression model, and evaluated its performance.
