Am i crazy if I physically visit the place i want to work at and submit my cv and tell them I want to work there?

So a vacancy opened but i bet it is flooded with CVS better than me. Will it be weird if I physically visit the place myself and submit my printed CV and tell them I want to work there and consider me for possible candidate for hire?

How do i stand out from the crowd? Cause i wanna work there. Its for internship and the pay is good too !!
