I got burned by the fake site above, but the real TorqueBall company made it right.
The scam: Search « TorqueBall » on Google and the first result is a paid ad for a copycat site. The legitimate company sits below, easy to miss.
What they send: A spray-painted metal (plastic) gyro ball from Amazon. Does nothing.
Their excuse: « Design changes. » Same product, they claim.
Red flags:
Brand new domain (always registered within days) Bait-and-switch tactics Generic knockoff arrives instead
The real Torqueball? Actually works. Glad I finally got one. Honestly, this was a cheap lesson that Google ads can be straight-up scams. Makes me wonder what else I’ve been trusting just because it’s at the top of search results.
